The client desired to have a premium and high tech offering for Diebold Nixdorf’s new ATM line. The goal of the effort was to develop a more distinct and differentiated product with value added security and user-centric features.

The DN Series 200 is a next generation ATM that focuses on creating a secure and convenient user experience as a point of competitive advantage. The design is highlighted by a simple and clean approach to the fascia and LED illuminated touchpoints that enhances transaction efficiency.

The DN Series 200 is an ATM that offers latest cash dispensing and cash recycling technology on the most compact form factor. The design focuses on creating the best user experience as a point of competitive advantage and a clearly differentiated product within the financial self-service industry.

The clear delineation of consumer touchpoints via bold LED illumination in combination with clear graphical elements provides a consistent customer interface and workflow across the product line.

The modular design approach offers upgradability to align with state of the art and future emerging technologies.

The fascia is manufactured in a manner which allows for a consistent look and feel regardless of fascia component configurations that contributes to the transaction efficiency for the consumer. The simple fascia approach also reduces visual complexity to enhance the perception as an easy to use product.

The DN Series 200 offers easy to add or upgrade functionality to adjust to new consumer demands and regulations. A variety of modular options for the user interface allow the bank customer to effectively serve their customer with options that meet the current needs and tomorrow’s vision.

Forced Air Heater Redesign

The client desired to have a second tier premium offering for Desa International’s portable kerosene heater line. The goal of the effort was to develop a more distinct and differentiated product with features that add value to the consumer.

The final design featured an aesthetically differentiated offset blower tube that allowed the creation of an accessible side control panel interface. The new forced air heater also offers a robust, feature rich structural foam shroud, integrated ergonomic handle and lower grab points for easier portability.
